Every fall the icelandic farmers gather their sheep from the highlands and into designated sheep gathering structures (folds). There each farmer can identify his sheep and gather them together.
This picture is taken in april 2007 at an old fold that is no more in use. With in 1-3 mile radius of this place you can see clear claw marks in the ground. These markings are from earthquakes in south Iceland, some of these have had their center in this area. Last one of these took place in 2008.
I like this picture. It is sharp, nice bokeh – and has the resemblance of a cross. I had the Autocord on a tripod, F8 1/125, film Provia.
